Welcome to the virtual office of the MA/PgD Bespoke & New Couture Program!
Below, you will find the information that you need to understand how unique our distance learning is from other online courses. You will get a glimpse of how the courses are designed and sample some modules for yourself.
The asynchronous format puts the control into the student’s hands and allows for flexibility in when and how you study. Online learning does not mean you are working alone. You will engage with classmates in the virtual lounges, team projects and in discussions, critiques and faculty lead activities. Additional programming such as guest speakers, artisan workshops and events will be introduced during the academic year.
Our Professors are accessible and never far away. They are there to guide you along the course material, provide discussion/assignment prompts, and additional resources and workshops where needed. Professors are also available for virtual office hours and one-on-one meetings by appointment.

Control your education.
The program’s online courses are designed to put students in control of their educational experience. Courses leverage innovative technology to make online learning easy and accessible. Material is delivered in engaging interactive ways through video, text, audio and activity formats with opportunities for repetition and self-study.
Courses feature virtual environments to familiarize students with industry environments and tools necessary for creating work within the studio environment in preparation for the courses in Polimoda.
Students will create real samples of their fashion creations and develop full projects in their home environment and share them with the class for feedback from instructors.
